Hello hope someone can help. I need to buy a tin of black paint to paint some ceramic wall tiles. Someone suggested Leroy Merlín. Firstly where is the nearest LM to El Raso, Guardamar and is there anywhere nearer that would definitely stock this?

Hi,

Theres a Leroy Merlin in Habaneras Torrevieja and the superstore is in Zenia Boulevard.

I used the product you have shown  couple of years ago and I was surprised at how good it was. Just remember to prep the tiles properly , not trying to teach you to suck eggs but it just wont adhere properly otherwise  :-)

Thank you! I was just going to give the tiles a good clean with a kitchen degreaser and lightly sand before painting?

The ferreterias all stock paint - nearest is Lo Marabu by the Food Co and they are extremely helpful.

Or specific paint shops there’s a couple in Guardamar, one on the north entrance and on the industrial estate. One in Formentera next to Lumsdens  or Quesada colours next to Quesada Fish and Chips.

I’ve personally can recommend  using Frenchic on tiles , but as a fully certified Frenchic addict - I use it on everything. Easy to use and a fantastic professional finish.

Look for The Little Painter on Facebook as Jayne is the only stockist in Costa Blanca South.

There’s a small Leroy Merlin in Habaneras and a much bigger one in Zenia Boulevard

I’ve seen lots of FB posts where people have used Frenchic on tiles. I just worry that it won’t stand up to the temperatures in a kitchen and the cleaning (especially above the cooker).

I can highly recommend Frenchic paint, having used it to paint my tiles, kitchen units, bedroom furniture etc. The Alfresco range is very durable, but I've also used the Lazy range

It’s the kitchen tiles that I’ve used Frenchic on. Over 2 years later and they are still  absolutely perfect.

Same for the kitchen units, doors , wardrobes, bedroom furniture lounge furniture , garden furniture  ornaments, light fittings etc etc
