We have an inherited 1000ltr gas tank which is somewhat obsolete as we only use gas for cooking.

Repsol says to have it removed will cost us at least 500euros plus.

Is the tank theirs or mine?

Can I sell it to another company?

We have a 1000 litre Repsol Gas Tank in our garden that we use for cooking and some heating.Make no mistake the Gas Tank is Repsols property, you cannot sell it.

If we want it removed who pays.

First of all, contact Repsol ( ours comes from Repsol Valencia & is piped in ) They will send a Gas Engineer to de-commision the Gas Tank. Also they will cap your supply to the property. ( remember this is gas you are deling with ) They will obviously charge for this service. The removal of the Gas Tank will have to be craned on to a flat bed truck and taken away. I would estimate 500 - 600 euros is about the right ball park figure for these services.
