I want to buy a few things (kitchen things and some bedding) from M&S.  It states on their website that there are no custom charges.  Has anyone had a extra charges added for this?  Ive heard a few have.  My order will be over 1000euros.

thanks

I order regularly from M & S apart from one order ( which was over a year ago) no charges are made. The order where a charge was made was delivered by DHL & was quickly refunded by M & S. My one word of advice don't make the same mistake I made I ordered a set of vegetable peelers which are classed as bladed items and extra checks and declarations were required which delayed delivery.

Thanks for replying.  I'm going to make quite a large order. Do you think this would be charged?

You could contact M & S customer services and ask them.

I've had 2 deliveries from M&S but used their Spainish site and translated it into English. I Was buying clothes both times but there were no extra charges.

I buy from marks n sparks and usually have no extra charges …except my last order in August !  I’ve had to get onto m&s twice now about it as I had a final demand in the mail last week for 40 euros.   I’ve been told not to pay it by M& S and they have chased up the resolution .

Hi Sun29,

I order regularly from M&S and have never been charged customs duties, although the most I´ve ordered has been around €300 value.  If you´re concerned, I´d recommend calling M&S International customer services:

Kind regards,

Kim
