Hi all

A while ago I sent a message to the forum about the unusually high water bill which we had received  the bill was for 2488€ for 3 months from July to October 2023

Well I am pleased to tell everyone that after many meetings and complaints to the water company office in San Fulgencio which included presenting them with the water leak repair certificate

The water bill was revised to 1120€ which is well over half of the original

My advise to all is that should you suffer the same fate as we did and your house had developed a water leak get the leak sourced and repaired and take the repair certificate to the water company office and they will reduce the bill

Hope this advice will be he

Have you checked your house insurance, they usually cover your extra usage if you have a leak.

Hi

Yes we have and are in process

They have asked for our previous water bills going back to Apr 2022!! Fortunately we can get duplicate bills from the water company office as I don’t keep the posted bills that long back

Cheers
