Hi hope someone can help/advise we bought a house last Sept in San luis. we have received an email from our bank sabadell about doing our tax returns are there any local solicitors that you used and could recommend so they can do ours as we don't know what to do

Are you resident in Spain, or is it a holiday home (for which you need to pay non-resident tax)?

Hi Sandra,
Unless you rent out your property (in which case, you would have to submit tax returns quarterly), your Non-resident tax has to be paid by 31 December 2021. I think what you've received from Sabadell is notification of the payment due for the certification that banks have to submit to the tax authorities in respect of non-resident accounts. This has to be done every 2 years - in addition to the fee, Sabadell also charges an administration fee.
For your Non-resident tax, I would recommend:
This can be done via email and for an additional fee of £12, Spanish Tax Forms will make the payment for you, if you are not going to be in Spain before the payment deadline.
