Hello , when I go to Spain for 3 weeks we fill up our plastic garden pool with water, but when we are due to go home can I empty my pool all at once so the water would go down the garden and then the street, would this break any rules or upset anybody, thank you.

It is illegal to do. With the bad draught in Spain, please just don't do it.

Presumably we are talking about a hard walled non permanent pool.

In that case leaving the water in a non circulating pool would create a mini haven for mosquitoes.

But as others have said you risk being fined , should you discharge water into the street.

Can you not connect the outlet to a hose which you could then discharge through your kitchen or bathroom outlets?

Also be aware we are one of the few areas  of southern Spain without domestic drought restrictions at present and we’re all busily trying hard to save water to save water being restricted to our homes.

Thank you all for your kind helpful replys much appreciated and educational, I can see the Spanish point of view and now know you can not empty your garden plastic pool out before you go home due to water shortages, plus you can not leave water in pool because it would attract mosquitoes , best thing to do would be to use communal pools.

Thanks again.
