Thank you for the reply , hope to retire when I’m 60 few years time so your ideas sound good , some I have thought about some are worth trying !  Just doing homework .. no idea where we will settle down yet maybe La Zenia ? 

Take up a hobby of some sort?    Think most are covered in the area.

My wife tried patchwork - which she was good at - but she got bored, but now volunteers in a charity shop once or twice a week, whilst I bury myself in my artists studio.

I also run a weekly art class which others enjoy as a day out too whilst developing skills :)

HI just saw this post but dated 2017. It says you run an art class every week. I have been painting many years just wondering is this class still running and if so where are you based. Also do you know of any groups that meet to paint in or around la Zenia. Thanks so much 

My classes specialised in life drawing but now only run on demand since Covid shutdowns.
(I do have a local model I use when necessary & occasionally have models visiting from other countries.)

But my studio/classes are in Rojales & I don't know of any art classes running in your area, but I expect there will be - although not life drawing.

There are art classes run by Santi in the artist caves (Cuevas de Rodeo) here too.
