I need to purchase a bottle of butane gas suitable for use in conjunction with a paellero. Any suggestions as to whereabouts I can go in and around the Benitachell area?

Thanks.

I assume you may not have one. Therefore you need to acquire one (empty) to exchange for a full one. (Repsol or Cepsa). Some kindly friends or neighbours may help. Around here an empty one will go 5€ or 6 €.

On the coast, people are trying to sell them off about 10€!

Still far cheaper and less hassle than getting a contract!

It's said that some outlets will sell you a bottle if you say it's for a BBQ, worth a try.

Don't go down the avenue of getting a new bottle.  You can only do that by signing up with a gas supplier and paying for a contract.

Just go to a local car boot sale, rastro or whatever,  buy an empty one then exchange it for a full one. You might even find one advertised on here.  Don't pay any more than €10 tops.

If your nearest garage is Cepsa then buy Cepsa bottles not Reposl and save yourself some travelling.
