Hi,

In the UK there are companies that remove and purchase stairlifts that are no longer required. I cannot seem to find anywhere in Spain that provides this same service.

Many thanks in advance for any advice. Seems such a waste to not be put to good use.

Have you contacted the original installers or manufacturers?

Hi,

Yes that was my first call, I have since contacted other installers, but nobody appears to be  interested.  Very strange that no companies appear to be interested to sell as reconditioned, there must be a need as they are so expensive to purchase as new. Very sad that it cant be put to good use for someone.

There is probably a charitable help organisation in your area, as there are several up here, who would be pleased to accept the chair. In this area they provide equipment loans to those in need and are always in need of both volunteers and kit. Your local charity shops may know who and where they are.
