Have sold house in Spain. Money in euros in Spain. What is best and cheapest method of transferring €25,000 to UK bank

I agree with Steve, Wise is your best option. You can see exchange rate and fee upfront without committing yourself.

Have investigated Wise. They seem to say maximum they transfer is €10,000. I suppose I could try and do it over an extended period

I wasn't aware of that, but if correct, I presume you could do it over three consecutive days? 5, 10 and 10?
