Looking for a bank that doesn’t make charges for normal use.

Are you full residents or non resident?

I use both Imagin who are absolutely fantastic and are quite honestly the best bank I have ever use, it's an online bank from La Caxia 24hrs customer service number you can call as well.

I also use Wefferent who is with Cajamar groups. Its a good bank, I use because it's connected to my business account

Most banks give free banking to residents if you meet their T&Cs on use. Non residents will pay unless you go to an internet bank such as Wise.

I have been with Caixabank (previously Bankia and Bancaja) and have never paid any fees as a resident. If retired, you need to pay 300 euro a month in pensions or 700 income if not a pension. You get your first debit card free and a free credit card if you use it more than 3 times a quarter (easy to do as it is taken out of your account every month with no fees). You can also have a minimum number of 3 direct debits a year.

Other banks also give free banking but check their terms first.

I have had free banking for many years with Sabadell Bank. I have my pensions (Private and UK government) paid directly into the bank. I don't have their credit card (I do have a Debit card) or any insurances etc. But I do have a couple of direct debits.

Wefferrent account with Cajamar charges NO fees even if non resident. (Been very happy for 5yrs with them as non resident with no fees).
