With a UK 🇬🇧 passport you will find it difficult if not impossible to get Legal permanent work, 😉 as Brexit has made the changes you may have voted for when UK decided to leave EU. You may get a few bits and pieces

If you want to do this legally you will need a working visa but as there is no shortage of EU painters and decorators, you are very unlikely to get one.
Now is the time to hope you have an Irish parent or grandparent.

If you are a UK passport holder and you want to live and work here in Spain permanently you will need to apply for and get a contracted work position. If you manage to get a work position then your prospective employer will need to apply for a work visa on your behalf from the Spanish consulate in the UK.
Please note that all available work in Spain must be offered to an EU citizen first by law.
It's highly unlikely that you will find work that you are looking for as there is still high unemployment here in Spain.

Spain is not the land of milk and honey the tv shows represent, better to stay in the UK.
Working in Spain would be a lot harder and more stressful even if you could get a job, which I doubt you would.
