Hi, I got a message saying my padron has expired. I am a non-resident with a property in Torrevieja.

Does anyone know how and if I need to renew this? I have a digital certificate if this makes the process any easier.

Thanks & regards, Keith.

If you're non resident, you shouldn't have a padron certificate in the first place. They are for residents only.

I thought Torrevieja was one of the places that wouldn't allow non residents to be on the padron. You are stating it is your primary residence. Just let it lapse as it won't matter one bit. It could also go against you if you decide to move permanently as they could use that date for tax assessment.

Thank you for the replies. I will just ignore it then.
