Looking  to relocate  next  year,  mrs would  like to continue  in her role in a part time  capacity as a payroll  manager or similarly a part time  suitable  admin role.

payroll degree with years  of management experience , any thoughts on possible part time,  even work from home payroll or similar jobs but sadly  English   only speaking,   appreciated .

Thanks

Hello Albertto how are you today.

You may have some difficulties. Spanish is the national language of Spain.

Best of luck

If non Spanish speaking then the chances of finding work in any field are as near zero as to be disregarded so if income from employment at any level is going to significantly impact the viability of your proposed relocation then sorry but best you stay put.

Remember that post Brexit you will be regarded as non EU citizens and therefore if wishing to move to and work in Spain be subject to the same rules and regulations as anybody from anywhere else in the world.

I suggest you research and acquaint yourself with what that means.

On the other hand if you have €500,000 cash to invest in a property the door will be flung wide open and the welcome mat spread out for you and your family !

Thanks guys,

And nakabandi thanks for  that helpful  piece, much appreciated!

yes I think it was more  to stay fairly  busy than the monetary reasons  but I guess  every  penny  counts!

And we are  probably  about  8 months  away but  nothing  is set  in stone  in life,  just  checking  out  options  and  learning  as we go.

Thanks  again 👍

Oh well, have  to send her back out  on the  streets  then 🤣

Hello Albertto

Maybe not. If her indoors is bored why doesn’t she learn Spanish. She can get DVDs and even watch youtube videos’. She could become a translator.

All the best.

Yes a lot of  possible iffy scenarios and situations to deal  with and I'm sure  new hoops  to jump  through but may as we sit back  ,learn  and wait it out.

Not worth  worrying, it's a big planet, nothing's  set in stone, will reassess once  King boris has closed us down!

Thanks Ray

Nakabandi

she knows  the basics and will learn as we go and will definitely  take  lessons where  daily  practice gets use ( I had a starter  lesson  or two at work a year of two back but over months  just  forgot through  lack of use).

And as I said  in reply  to Ray, not worth worrying  or committing to anything until  bad boris has had his  wicked  way anyway

Been attempting  to read  that Ray, but  hope  a edited condensed  version is available soon, that's a lot  of stuff to trawl through ,even for  a lawyer!
