Concern for Aunt

I have an elderly Aunt, Pamela Turner, 92 who has lived in Alcalali since moving from UK 30 yrs ago I haven't seen her since 1914 when we both met up after Christmas in Peterborough UK. Her husband Bill died in 1998 and is buried there. My concern she is not answering my mail or responding to Christmas cards. Is there anyone who know her could find out if she is Ok. She hasn't driven for several years and I know she has a Spanish cleaning lady come in to help herand has a couple of friends who's names I don't know who take her out. She used to walk into the village frequently, She also has a daughter Tracy who lives in Cuddington, UK but she was born after I left UK and have only met her a few times and we don't stay in touch. I would just like to know is she alive and well. I can her last address if that would help. Appreciate anything you can do.

In 2014 she came to England and we stayed at my brothers house. I have talked to her on kthe phone and received Christmas cards up until 2019. I know she had surgery around this time. Is her address is Alcalali. Alicante Why would Benidorm be better. She is closer to CalprI think

Hi there,

Have you tried contacting the locol police in that area, with her name and address, expressing your concern about your Aunt. You would need a good Spanish speaker to do this, or contact them by email using Google translate.

If as you say, your Aunt lived nearer to Calpe, then here are the details for Calpe Police Station. If there is a police ststion closer, I hope they will give you the contact details.

There are post office boxes in the village of Alcalali. She only lives a short walk from the village. There are many expats who live only few doors from her. I was hoping some one from Alcalali was on this site or who knows someone from the village. I appreciate all your suggestions,

No I am in USA. Pam does not have any computer or way to disco chapter any email . Would Buzon 17, mean anything?

Absolutely nothing. Does she have other family you can ask for more details? I was meaning i could video call you if i can find her

Buzón means mailbox. So I’m guessing that (17) is her mailbox number in the building or community where she lives.
