Does anyone know of a small flat piece of land the would make a reasonable model aircraft flying site in this area?

It must be free from obstructions, poles, electric pylons, buildings and not close to a main road although it needs good access track that would accommodate ordinary cars etc. leading from a road.

As far as I am aware there is no site around her that would make a suitable venue for what might be a new small flying club.

If anyone is interested please contact me via thhis website in the first instance.

I successful I would ensure all legalities are met.

Paul Marx.

Someone had mentioned a site to the east of Rojales but they were unsure if it was a model flying site or an active airstrip. I’ve measured it and the runway is 100 metres long so definitely only a model site.

My understanding is that the air space is pretty well shut off for drones and RC planes in this area.

Thanks, I have seen this one, very high and I haven't had a reply from the club that runs it.

No, this is an approved site also funded to create tarmac runway and shelters and clubhouse by Guardamar authorities. Also home to the Guardamar flying club with drones and I/c and electric flying. Search online for full story of Capitan M Rivera and how this became a monument to him.

Thanks for that Paul.  Very interesting and very informative.  There's so much Local History we're not aware of.

However, I do have a concern with the video that the Google Search you suggested be looked at.  The 2 Protagonists stopping in Guardamar in their search,  for a breakfast of tostados..... There was no Copa de Cognac accompanying it - let alone a small Chupito.... Disgraceful😄
