Was thinking of buying a free view box but the tv isn’t a smart tv so don’t know if it would work. I have an amazon fire stick but can only get bbc news in that

Freeview is UK TV via a TV aerial...not a dish.. and is NOT available in Spain. The Spanish equivalent is TDT, which as mentioned above, carries only Spanish channels, (but with the option of changing most UK and USA programmes from the dubbed Spansih audio to the original audio).

Freesat is UK TV via a satellite dish...min of 125x135cm in Altea. If there is not already a dish for UK TV on your roof that you can ask the owner if you can hook up onto, then you will need your own. And a Freesat box connects to the TV via HDMI input.

As the Firestick uses the internet for its content, I am slightly confused when you say you have one and can only get BBC News on it...when you say you do not have access to the internet??? All UK "freesat / freeview/ channels can be made available on it, using the offical apps on it in conjunction with a VPN / Smart DNS service to hide you are using it outside the UK, or via other apps that are "third party" streaming apps.
