Tram/train

I will be dropping my hire car off in Benidorm and was wondering if I can get the tram/train straight back to Altea?
You can also get the number 10 bus which is very regular from Benidorm-Alfaz-Albir-Altea.Actually easier than the tram as there are stops in various parts of Altea,& cheap!
Yes. Get yourself to the train station then get a ticket at the ticket office and get on an L9 train headed to Denia. The train HAS to stop at the main Altea station but if you want to get off at the next stop, Gàrganes, more central, it would be a good idea to press the little green "Stop request" button by the door just in case no one else wants to get on or off at Gàrganes. (Unusual)
