Yes, there are 2 buses everyday to Alicante (at 7:00 am and at 3:00 pm if I am not wrong).

There are buses to Guardamar as well, I think 3 everyday.

If you want to go to Alicante or Murcia or Elche maybe the smartest option is to go to the train station in Callosa (12 minutes by car from Benejuzar). You have one train every hour.

I live in Benejuzar ( Im Spaniard tho). If you need some advice just hit me by message ;)

Hi neighbors , my name is Peter, and I purchased a place in Beautiful Benejuzar and thankfully back in May for two weeks with my wife. Is it possible to get the train at Collosa train station to Benidorm, or would you have to go to Alicante ?

Hello, and thanks you for your kind words to my hometown Benejuzar.

The train from Callosa will take you to Alicante, not beyond. If you want to go on your travel you have to take the "tranvia" in Alicante downtown

You can take a look to Alicante Tranvia (also named TRAM) and see all the stations and stops of the TRAN here ->

Muchas Gratias Señor por tomarse el tiempo para responder.

Yes we fell in love with Benejuzar as soon as we arrived, more for the simple reason we would love to spend a lot more time intergrating with the Spanish people, traditions and the food, we are just outside of Benejuzar town centre, Calle Bario de las Barracas. Thank you once again for the information and tenga un buen día

My pleasure, my friend. You are improving your Spanish!! well done!!

So your house is by the river, in the old part of the town. 2 centuries ago all the town was in the left side of the river, just where your place is. An earthquake struck the fragile houses in my small hometown, and Bejenuzar was forced to begin almost from zero. In that moment it was decided that the new Benejuzar must be built in the right side of the river, because it´s believed to be safer. The fact is that in the right side of the river we had a huge flood in 1987 or 1988, I dont remember now.

There are a couple of nice routes for cycling by the river in Benejuzar, once you are here you can message me, so we can drink a coffe and chat for a while

Take care in the meantime!!

Hi there, don't even know your name ?

Apologies for being late replying, been a busy few days and many thanks for the invitation to meet for Coffee, look forward to it, my wife and I normally stop for Coffee at the cafe on the corner by the kiosk in the square, really looking to get back over as we love the peace and tranquility Benejuzar offers, we are not into meeting up with expats at the moment, by the way your English is word perfect, I'm embarrassed to say I actually don't know enough to string a sentence together in Spanish haha, anyway I will be in touch as soon as I can when I get over there,

Take care, best regards Peter
