Can anyone recommend a good nail salon and hairdresser nearby, I have short hair and need to have it cut every four weeks,I have been with the same hairdresser for the last 10 years so am a bit nervous of going to another.

Hi Shelagh,

I go to Maximo Beauty in Plaza de Constitucion in Benijofar - Laura (the owner) for hair and Julie for nails.  Both excellent and the salon is lovely.

Kind regards,

Kim

Hi,

I also use Maximo, Megan for hair and Julie for nails. Really good. I was nervous too after having the same hairdresser for 18 years.

Since arriving in Benijofar nearly 3 weeks ago, I have repeatedly been bitten, not sure what by but think mossis. I have tried the mossi repellent in the green bottle you get from the supermarket and was recommended to try the baby lotion from Lidl but nothing seems to work. I bought some hydrocortisone cream from the chemist to help with the itching and have been using rubbing alcohol plus taking Vitamin B complex tabs. Is there any other things I can do or try? Its the middle of the night when the burning and itching keep me awake that's the worse time. Any help will be much appreciated.
