Hi,thanks, but I wasn’t asking about the legalities, but the opportunities.have ran a legitimate business in Britain for 28years wouldn’t dream of doing otherwise.i want to move to lighten my load!i.e. scale down and enjoy a better climate.working a few days for someone,or helping manage they’re business would be ideal.not looking to break any laws or enter 8nto anything underhand, just dont want to give up on an industry that I enjoy, but thanks

You may get bits of work. But hairdressing is one of the markets which is saturated in terms of Brits looking for jobs.

If you have to work to fund your life in Spain, hairdressing won't do that for you.

The hairdresser whom I use has been here for nearly 20 years and sheand her husband have worked hard and built up a good business. However, she says to me that much as she would love an extra pair of hands, albeit part time, due to the costs levied by the tax and social security system, there is no way she can afford to employ anyone. And apparently very few people want to ‘rent’ a chair for exactly the same reason, the charges for being ‘autonomo ‘ are very high.
