Has anyone lost their tortoise cat. She's alone in Orange Grove in Formentera Del segura she seems to have been neutered as no kittens for over a year. We can't get to get she's behind fencing. Please contact me if you recognise this cat.

Hi,

Try putting this on the Talk Quesada forum aswell as it's close by and some people on there may put it on Facebook for you.

She's a real beauty and certainly looks in good condition.  There's a very good chance that she is someones pet and just wanders around, like a lot of cats do. Don't try to take her until you're sure that she's abandoned as you'll be taking someones beloved pet which is heartbreaking.  I know from experience as this happened to one of our cats that was very friendly and loved to wander around.  We were lucky that we got her back as the lady caught her and took her to the vets to be sterilised and only after they had given her (the cat) anaesthetic, shaved her and found out she was already spayed did they bother to check for a chip. The woman then phoned me to say she'd let her go, whilst still recovering from the anaesthetic, instead of keeping her and waiting for me to collect her. Luckily she came back the next day.

Sorry to waffle and I'm not saying that you would do this but check very thoroughly first please.
