It depends on your expectations, so there’s no clear answer to that. If you are wanting to live  in a town area  then it will probably tick most of your boxes. It’s a much more modern town, than somewhere like neighbouring Rojales, but that’s probably due to the great expansion of properties being built within the town itself. It has a small weekly market  but not that many shops. The main commercial centre, near Mc Donald’s contains, restaurants and estate agents and there’s another centre being built not far from  the Mercadona end of town.

It does however have fantastic fiestas and the area around the church has an abundance of good bars and restaurants, great for people (and traffic) watching. The park area is having lots of work done on it  to increase the size of the lake, so should make it an even prettier area for walking.
You will unfortunately need a car as public transport is not the best in the area.

If you’re looking at an area just out of town, head towards Rojales as both municipalities share the Benimar urbanisations.

Best to pay a visit as that is the only way  you can decide if it’s best for you.

Hi Lynn, Many thanks for your reply we do plan on coming out to look at this area and Rojales and possibly some neighbouring towns just to see which best suits.  Just thought I would try and get some guidance on the areas as we don't want to be in a tourist area if living there but still want to be accessible to the beaches etc.
