Kim,
Yes, I agree, this is something to do with much bigger
Forces.
Lots of folks in UK,who realise what is happening are
trying to get away from what many think is the Epi centre
of the covid agenda.

Hi Cisco 54 I do not know which country you are from, but in the 5 adjoining roads near to us on our mountain, 17 houses of people have arrived in the last 10 days. Thes are made up of French, Dutch, Swiss, Norwegian, English, Finnish, & Austrian, by land & air and only 10% have resedencia, so we think everything is starting to relax in the Valenciana region. Hi Vinny ear,
Thanks for the update and I agree with you about the relaxation of the borders.
My trip is booked in the next few days by ferry direct, and I was banking on the May the 9th decision date to relax the travel conditions especially for home owners. But as you know there is a ban on us, UK, til end of May. I'm making a decision today whether to travel or not, hoping for some common sense and decency from the Spanish but I know I will have to cancel and rebook.
I can't afford to lose almost £1400 to rebook two more ferry journeys along with three more covid tests if I were to be blocked from entry.

I had got my hopes up about 6 days ago when puig said he would relax the borders and then a few days later this came out contradicting what the pm had said...
""BOE 103 of 30 April has extended the borders closures to non-EU countries into the Schengen area until 24:00 on 31st May to all but citizens and residents of Spain and Andorra and for essential travel purposes.""...

I don't know who BOE are, unless another name for Spain's given., but it's seems someone is pulling the strings of Spain's government.
I don't have the links to these as too busy at the moment but read it on the ciudad quesada forum under "updates"
BOE is Boletín Oficial del Estado the Spanish equivalent of Hansard.

Hi Cisco 54 I have spoken this morning to 3 houses of the people I quoted yesterday who have arrived here to their second homes. The consensus seems to be if you have a rental contract going ahead in the summer and can prove it with paperwork ( these 3 have rental contract with Interhome ) and property purchase details with names matching your passports, this proved positive for them. Also it is better to travel as a couple, than with many children, the dog & buckets & spades. It just seems ( in their opinion ) that it presents a better image that you are indeed going to carry out the preperation for summer clients. Hope this helps you.
Hivinnybear,
My house rental finished in Nov and not been back since. I am not sure, tenant and agent not good, if I would rent again I would certainly change the agent.
I might sell the house because if this covid nonsense continues it will not be good for us home owners. I wouldn't mind but I sold my home in to move to Spain permanently.
I might ring the agent you mentioned.
Thanks for the help.
