Probably somewhere but being Crevillent likely N. African or Arabic.

There is a Spanish shop in Catral opposite the Village Inn which is normally open.

No need to buy water, plenty in the taps!

Many of the petrol stations have all the basics, and Marjal campsite have a shop although I don't know its hours.

For a full supermarket you need to follow the Carettera del Estacion until you reach Matola and there is a full supermarket, with butchers in operation.  You could also stop on the way at the best restaurant in the area - Los Molinos, and have a meal.  They are so friendly that they will probably fit you up with essentials as well....

As a last resort give me a message and I will dig into the fridge....

If you are flying in to Alicante and then using car on arrival, you will have to drive past CARREFOUR.

This is on the main Crevillent road and only 5 mins from the town and is open on Sundays where you will be able to get everything.

If you use the autovia you will not pass Carrefour.... you come off the A6 at exit 526 for the Estacion and Crevillent ….  there is a big Repsol garage on the right immediately after the exit where some basics can be obtained.  It´s your best bet.

Kind regards

Hi everyone.

My partner and I are looking at a property in the hills behind Crevillent to use as a Health and Fitness Retreat. We think we have found the right place but we need to know more about the town and the area.

What’s your thoughts?

It can be cold and windy up there in the winter, better have a good heating system for all year round use.    Crevi itself is a great town with excellent communications by road and rail.  The health service is second to none with the Vinalopo hospital and the health centre run by the same management.

Lots of supermarkets, restaurants and bars.....

Please be aware when buying that rural properties MUST have 10,000 square metres of land or they are illegal and you cannot obtain planning for any alterations.

Send me a PM if you have any specific questions.

Kind regards

Richard
