Beach bars

What is current situation regarding, the bars not opening

I was talking to an neighbour of mine about this and they where saying that the beach bars went out to tender like they do every year and the local council where looking for €500,000 a year for the contract to open all the beech bars while before the old contract was €300,000 this is the same party that has closed all the shops on a Sunday I don’t really think they understand that tourism is the only reason that Spain is out of recession
