At the very bottom, though none of the papers, Spanish or English have reported this, the quarantine only applies whilst the country is in a "State of Alarm" which at the moment ends the 24th May, but could be extended and then so does the quarantine rules.

No Tony, we're weeks behind Spain. England is starting to ease restrictions but Scotland, Ireland and Wales are quite rightly "locked down" for a further 2 weeks at least.
Sounds fam

EasyJet have just cancelled all flights for June (if you go to book or change existing flight they are unavailable). I had booked to travel on 22nd June and have changed now to 3rd July before flights jump in price so would perhaps suggest doing the same whilst there are no fees to amend? I’m coming for a year so happy to quarantine (and sorting residency before anyone makes comments lol)
Best of luck

...afe, Tony.
Hi Tony,
My thoughts for what they are worth.
If you rent without viewing ask yourself what you have to lose?
Maybe living in an area you may not like for maybe only 6 months while you find your ideal location? Maybe paying rent for a time on a property you can't get to due to travel restrictions?
You can look on google maps street view. You can limit you're exposure by only letting for the minimum long term rent. You can ask forum members if anyone currently living in the area the pros and cons.
If you need to obtain residency before end of 2020 to obtain long term free healthcare and lower income requirements then you may have to just bite the bullet and start to put in place the things you need to be successful in obtaining residency in the timescales.
Never buy a property without physically seeing it though, I think renting is probably the only risk worth taking in the short term.
Wish you well with your future plans whatever you decide
Take care and keep safe
