You need to go and viisit El Verger and rent an apt,... that way you can find out if it suits your needs. Its really not important if someone else likes it or not - it has to provide everything you want from a home or a holiday home, it depends what you need from that location.

I live in Beniarbeig, very close to El Verger, drive through it quite a bit and know it well. If you can tell me which street I could help a bit. There's the "town" but there's also the part that spreads down to the coast.

Exactly. You could live on the coastal boundary of Vergel and have a different experience to elsewhere in the area.
