Hi All !! My Wife & Myself are now spending half the year in Spain & are quite keen to find an English Speaking Doctor in El Vergel. As yet, my Spanish is not up to par, even with the extra lessons. Just In Case We Might Need Medical Help Cos You Never Know !!! Any bright ideas ???

Probably your best bet is to go to your local Centro de Salud and ask, but you may need to take a friend who speaks Spanish with you. Some of the Spanish GPs speak some English, the younger ones usually do, but you may have to find a ‘private’ doctor who treats the international community.The alternative is to ask if there are volunteer translators working at the Centro, they are available in some of the areas, but not usually in smaller places; or of course, take a translator with you.
