Small Communal Pool Maintenance

Hi our small communidad has 10 properties and a small pool.Questions I have are
1.Can we carry out the pool maintenence ourselves if we complete an acredited course
2.Do we need to register as a business to do this?
3 Do we need insurance or would the community insurance cover this.
