Hi we have just bought a property in La Florida. We should complete sometime in late September with the hope of coming over in October. I just wanted to say hi 👋 and ask a few questions. What company do you recommend for internet? What are the main things to do in the winter months and does everything stay open? What’s the best beach?

The two best known internet providers are https://www.avatel.es/ and https://olecomunicacion.net/ who both have offices in La Zenia.
In La Florida and adjoining areas, almost everything stays open all year round, although it's obviously quieter than the summer months.
As for things to do - that largely depends on your own interests, and whether you will have a car (public transport is not too great!).
There are various beaches, but you will probably need transport to get to them. The nearest one is (probably) at Playa Flamenca, with La Zenia also nearby.
The language you will hear most often is English!
