HI guys

Im about to shove my house through an auction and hightail it out of this crazy brexit soaked country! I have 3 pugs and 2 cats, and was thinking of La Mata, it looks beautiful, and on the programme a place in the sun they did a feature on it and I spied people walking their dogs a lot.  I particularly want to purchase a house up to £200k where its okay and safe for my dogs and cats and I can take my doggies onto the beach.

Is La Mata the best place?

All advice gladly received as I am open to any areas as long as I can buy a good "house" not apartment, suitable for my dogs so privacy , garden and proximity to beach and walk areas vital to me.

If being close to the Beach for walking your dogs is an important factor you would need to identify where the "dog friendly" beaches are located in relation to your property as on most beaches dogs are not permitted.

Hello Holly, here's a map of dog friendly beaches

https://www.google.com/maps/search/dog+friendly+beaches,+/@38.0518925,-0.6817178,11z

Out of season many people walk their dogs on the beaches although they could be fined for doing it. Coastal areas are quite manic ( I think) in the summer and my dogs don't want to do much more than sleep indoors in the cool. Care must be taken that they don't burn their paws on the pavements and in early spring the Processionary Caterpillars can be lethal.
Privacy can be a bit of a problem if you want to be within walking distance to the beach and of course the closer you are, the more expensive the property will be.
I wish I could say that you will escape Brexit here but that is impossible.

I agree I would not do that - I lived in Australia 20 years and they have designated dog beaches but you still pick up pooh - it’s a respect thing :-)
