A general enquiry. Apart from the standard ITV sticker displayed on car windscreens I have noticed several with a DGT sticker that features a letter, often a B or C, can anyone please enlighten me with information on what these relate to.

The question arose from seeing all the Madrileño cars at their villas in La Zenia.

Thanks for the info. I have made the assumption that the itv sticker goes on the passenger side of my right hand drive Spanish registered car ( the near side when it was on UK plates in the UK)

From my guide to the ITV:

The sticker is self-adhesive, and is to be stuck on the upper kerbside of the windscreen. If your windscreen has a tinted section at the top, it should be placed just below this.

You must only display the current sticker. They aren't easy to remove, but the use of a solvent like thinners or alcohol helps with removal.

I had to display my C sticker before driving into  the centre of Madrid to avoid being fined.
