Just returned to Spain, what is going on with the mosquitoes ? been eaten alive, never known anything like it in past five years. Looking for recommendations for screens for patio doors and windows, at war with the little blighters .

The recent heavy rains and resultant flooding will have produced innumerable breeding grounds for mozzies.

There will be more of the wee blighters after the recent heavy rains helped provide ideal breeding grounds.

Thanks to everyone, we have lavender plug ins in the very room, and use lavender body lotion but still the wee blighters bite, 23 bites in 4 days 😒 no stagnant water lying around, waiting on quotes for screens etc

Obviously lavender plug inns and lotion not working. You need to use lotion with 50% Deet and proper mozz plug inns.

Yeah, it is proper mosquito plug ins, also trying aqua de colonia which was recommended , got three different creams from pharmacia for bites. Never known it this bad.

Thanks Jan
