A few questions need help with please

Hi there.
We are looking at coming down and renting for a few months to test out the area, we have a few questions to ask so hoping someone can help.
We have a son who is 2 years old, what are schools like in the area? Would he have to go to a nursery or playgroup before school?
Where is the best places for a family to move to, my inlaws are based in La Finca which is very pretty but maybe a bit to far out for us, not sure.
My husband is a builder and would be looking for work and I work from home selling Scentsy.
We have 2 dogs and 3 cats. Would this be hard to find a rental?
Any information would be gratefully received and any other information you think could help would be great.
