We have all the paperwork ready to apply for Residencia but we can't get an appointment before 29 March in Torrevieja. Can anyone tell me if we can apply anywhere else?

Hi Juliette, how did you get the appointment there? Who do we contact in order to make the appointment?

I've just tested the appointments system again and it's still saying:

En este momento no hay citas disponibles.

If you've got an appointment and not received notice that it's been cancelled, then count yourself lucky.

Glad you were able to get it. Our solicitor quoted us over €1100 to do it but we thought this was far too much. Was it realistic?

I think your Solicitor was trying to take advantage of your situation and line their own pockets, we did it ourselves last year and it cost nothing so for a Solicitor to do it I think a fee of 100€ would be closer to the mark.

Yes, I agree with you. But it seems it's probably too late now anyway. Thanks for your input.

Try European Advisers in Playa Flamenca.  Francine did mine last month for 100€.  She speaks perfect English.  She sometimes gets a cancellation for the residencia appointment.

If you email European Advisers she will reply on Monday.  euradvisers@gmail.com.

You could try Malcolm Soll.  malcolmsoll@yahoo.co.uk.  I think he charges 80€ and might have a cancellation.

There is also One Way Services in Quesada.

Good luck!
