Thankyou for your help with my problem. A lot of you were helpful and some of you were not. It turned out that my television had a weird set up. I was advised to get a firestick. Expensive, yes, but when your TV doesn't appear to want to tune in, help is needed. It took a while and involved several people. I was told to get a firestick. A friend told me about a guy, I gave him a ring and he came to see me. What was supposed to be a quick fix turned into several hours. The firestick didn't work and when we disconnected it, it was read hot. The chap provided a different firestick which after an hour of fiddling worked. Cost me another €50 but I have a TV that works. I am not technically minded and I am disabled.
