Does anyone have any experience of what the Spanish authorities at the airport are looking for as proof of address when families come to visit. The only thing I have found is the Letter of invitation but this is only one option. Unfortunately the government website doesn't give other options.
A return ticket. We all have family visiting and there are no problems whatsoever.

They will not be asked for any proof of address. They will have to enter an address on their Spanish health control form, but will not have to provide any proof as such. They will not be questioned regarding where they are staying upon entry. So, no need to be concerned.
