Hi - we are buying a house in Monte pedreguer and wanted some advice on the best place to buy bed linen and homeware in denia or surrounding areas

Also need a 8 seater outdoor garden table and chairs if anyone is selling please contact me

Also wondered if there was a locals group forum or website that would be good for us to join - any recommendations appreciated ! Many thanks - mell

I would suggest you visit Yorkshire Linen in Javea.

Spanish bed sizes are different from UK ones so make sure of the sizes before buying.

Primark for bedding, they have some lovely things.

Conforama is also good for household things and garden furniture.

Good luck

JYSK in the Puerto de la Marina shopping mall at Ondara have a decent selection of linen and bedding. As a previous poster said, check and double check sizes before buying.

Casa, also in the mall, have a good selection of kitchenware, utensils etc.

There are dozens of outlets selling outdoor furniture although you will find selections generally lower until the summer season starts again in April. Just look out for them as you drive around.

For local info groups you could try DeniaConnect or JaveaConnect on Facebook, you might even get some second hand outdoor furniture on there.

Happy hunting.

Steve

Unless you need the outdoor furniture right now I would wait until February for price reductions. This also applies to any blinds you want installing.

Primark is terrific for bed linen and towels, Jysk I would put in second place. Remember when measuring your beds to do it in centimetres.

Jysk also has great furniture, and ongoing sales at the moment.

Enjoy yourselves furnishing.
