Gotta drop a car back to the airport this morning but then have to get back to MORAIRA. What is the best way to do it. Is there a local bus? How much is a taxi or can I get a train?

I think you're probably already at the airport!
You could get a bus to Alicante, and then use tram/metro https://mapa-metro.com/en/Spain/Alicante/Alicante-Metro-map.htm
Line L9 has a stop named Teulada.
