Spanish Lessons and meeting new people

I have just come across your message enquiring about Spanish lessons for your parents.

What I can offer your parents are Spanish classes through videoconference. This means that I will be teaching them through Skype or any other software of their choice. 

These types of classes will be strictly tailored to their needs, can be accessed from the comfort of their home and are easy to fit into their daily schedule.

I hope your parents' move to Moraira goes smoothly!

A few suggestions for language learning...  There is a good audiobook called Learn Spanish by Paul Noble. I used this and it was a really good starting point. You get going quickly with sentences in Spanish and of course your parents could make a start with this before they come.

 If your parents are going to become residents I believe the Town Hall in Moraira can advise on language classes provided to local residents twice a week. This could be a good way for them to meet people too. There is also a language exchange group in Moraira that meets on Thursday evenings at Kalas cafe, for when they have at least a little Spanish and want to practice conversation.

Thank you so much for all that very helpful information. I have heard about the town hall setting up lessons but wasn't sure if this was the case so i'll definitely look into that. I came across that group also when I was searching so again that you for reaffirming that for me too!

Hi, Spanish classes are given on Monday afternoons by Tony at The Premium Bar, Moraira, for Improvers and Intermeduates or for Beginners on Tuesday afternoons. Premium Bar is in Moraira on the Moraira-Calpe road, just past the turning to the health centre and car park. Tony has been giving Spanish ckasses in Moraira since 2010. Call 602592237.

Theres a company (school) in Calpe that offer spanish lessons, they have a website but cant remember what its called but its close to morirá. Where they area moving is a beautiful place, lots of expats so they wont have a problem with meeting people if they are used to going out and socialising, excellent chippy there aswel
