You would need to use an international removals company. We used https://www.howells-removals.com/ when we moved down.

It's a beautiful table so make sure it is protected against woodworm.

Cheryl is spot on. Use an International removals company as its far from straightforward since Brexit.

We used White and Company in Feb this year. Not a full house move so only a part load. We had to wait a few weeks from pick up to drop off in order to 'piggy back' another load coming to Spain, but it kept the costs down considerably and was well worth it. Exceptional service and I can highly recommend them.

Phillips removals.  I used them for a one off recently and would recommend.  Most of the other companies have a minimum charge.

Thanks for the response. I’ve contacted them and it’s £600 to move the table. I’m just wondering if I could add my table to another persons load . I could drop it off anywhere in the south east.

Did they break the cost down to show how much of this is taxes and duties? Chances are you will be on a mixed load anyway as they have huge lorries and although we had a full house move it only took about 1/3 of the space. Get a few quotes for comparison.

Thanks . £100 was custom charged and the rest freight. Sounds expensive for a table!
