Hi.

Is anyone experiencing losing TV channels when their TV is connected to a dish. Channels such as BBC and Channel 4, although with channel 4, the picture is only lost in the evening which could be down to a power issue.

I have read that this could be down to changing channel frequencies on the Astra satellite, but I am not certain. Any ideas?

Friends have had this problem for over a month.

Thanks.

Kev

BBC and C4 have not changed frequencies on satellite for several years - so that is not the issue. Nor are there any "Power issues", otherwise everyone and all other channels on that satellite would also have issues.

The loss of channels will be down to : wrong size of dish, dish alignment (the most common issue), tress / buildings in line of sight, insects inside LNB (if a 1.8 or 2.4m dish), LNB failure, Cable connection issues, old cable cracked in the sun letting in water, receiver problems.
