Hi. Are there any good websites or papers that post the holidays and fiestas. We are fairly new to the area and usually find these out through word of mouth.

Thanks

Kevin

I find that the local Facebook groups are the best sources of information.  Ali x  (ps we are looking to buy a property in the area - including Parcent.  How are you finding it so far?)

Hi Ali. Thanks for the reply. I will look on FB for these. We are renting in Parcent for the year and enjoying every bit of our time here. This is what suits us for the time being so we can decide what is best for us. We have our place through Garcia villas. They seem to have a selection available in this area, and we know of a private 3 bedroom buy for i believe £360.000 if you are interested. It's on Campuset. Lliber seems to be a popular place to purchase a property as the price seems slightly cheaper but a lovely village. Hope that helps? Are you after a town house or villa. we sometimes hear little snippets of info. Kev x

I would love to be about to move out full time and rent a property to try an area out, but we can only get away from our farm business/pets for 1 or 2 weeks at a time, so it is a better option to buy a smaller/cheaper property for those short holidays until we can get away for longer periods.  We intend to keep that smaller property and rent it out once our circumstances change.  We are trying to keep our budget below 100k, but may go a bit higher if we fall in love with something!  Less than 3 weeks until we fly out to the sun again - and counting the days.

Townhouses are the best bet and there are a couple going in Parcent around £50 grand so I heard. Need work done.

I have also heard of villas on urbanisations going around what you wish to pay.

Will keep an eye out and let you know more about the places in Parcent. Kev x
