HELP !! Switching to Salt Water Pool because of Wasps

Hi
We have been told that if we switch to a salt water pool it will deter the wasps from our pool. Can anyone shed any info on this please.

Suggest you leave an open (mostly empty) pot of jam out.
If this distracts them away from your pool, money saved

You can buy a product you loose in the pool. Stood the film on the water , they land and prown.
