Can anyone tell me if the invasion of mosquittos have left San Luis and surrounding area. I was back at my house 3 weeks ago with my friend and we were eaten alive by the little b-ggers. I am hoping to come back in the next couple of weeks and was just wondering if it is any better now. I am waiting to go in for an operation in November back in the UK and dont want to go into hospital covered in bites . Would be grateful for any information. Thanks

Hi,

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it certainly isn't any better.  We live in La Siesta and are around San Luis frequently, the little blighters are everywhere.  The town hall have been spraying so we live in the hope that they may start disappearing soon.

Well, we have seen a dramatic drop in La Siesta of the mozzies!  After weeks of being bitten ( not me, my other half gets eaten alive, he's non too happy that I hardly ever get bitten.lol!) we haven't seen one for the past few days so I'd say book your flight so you can have an enjoyable post op rest.

Good luck.

Thanks madcatwoman, glad to hear the mozzies have taken flight, however Ive just had word from hospital and I am going in next Monday, so I will just have to wait till my operation is over and Im fit to fly before I can come over. But it also means I can come over for a good fewweeks while I recouperate so happy days. Thanks for your help.
