Depends when you're going of course, but if it's warm I always tend to end up with a pitcher of beer at the bar on the prom just beyond the big hotel watching the world go by.

I realise my advice isn't much help. Sorry :-)

Dirsantapola, have you considered a trip around Santa Barbara Castle ?

We visited it last year and was very impressed.

Yes, all fine here, thanks Dave, hope same with you.

I'm pleased you enjoyed the Castle experience too.

Stephanie, although we passed by, we didnt go inside the museum, but looking down,we did see the most amazing sight from the raised  street advantage point.

Two workman were steadying a large step ladder, sited directly below a high level light fitting as another workman was standing with one foot on the bottom rung. Just then a fourth workman holding a large light bulb approached. He handed the light bulb to the workman at the bottom of the ladder who then  commenced to climb the ladder up to the light fitting and changed the bulb.

A four Man job !

It brought a whole new meaning to the term 'How many Electricians does it take to change a light bulb ? " 😀😀😀😀😀
