Hi Deb

I had an electric filter fitted last year. Very simple you can buy one in Leroy Merlin. I truely dont miss carrying those heavy water bottles.

No problem drinking the tap water in Spain although the taste might be different to what you are used to. Water filters are available on eBay for around £20 and are easy to fit.

Only for me. Other's happy & seem happy to consume chlorinated water. For only for the main reason, I only prefer agua con gas. The other reasons in high calcium tap water (other than chemicals &  included) I (by my choice ) & Spanish locals prefer bottled waters). Some do, seem not. Lastly, as apart, I have irrigation house water. Tastes nice, but only boiled, (parasites etc). & also the calcium is minimal (left in the kettle) and want no more kidney stones.Choice & choices.  Prefer I'd have a g&t!, but Adam's Ale, fizzy with lemon (nearly) do it! .....nearly? Not drinking enough water is more of a risk likely to contribute to kidney stones rather than drinking hard water, and some studies suggest that hard water can improve GI health. Like everything I guess moderation and personal choice.

Agree with above. Water. But the difference of ""hard" water & loadsa calcium deposits in the kidney's are quite painfully I remember. But when all said & done, I personally only drink agua con gas (don't come out'a my tap). For chlorine or salt, I prefer to swim in it, rather than drinking it. Villas.

You're thinking of an allotment owned by Del boy in Peckham. Villas
