Good morning myself and my fur baby are moving over very soon and I’ll be renting in teulada, there are a very lovely couple who are friends of friends but that are helping with my new life there. Is any body else new to the area? I’ve joined a few groups on Facebook and have met some people on there too, not obviously not face to face yet but I will do soon, I was just wondering are there any clubs for new expats? Any Spanish classes etc in the town? Also I know the job situation is very dire at the moment, but I would be looking at a little part time job after I’ve settled in, from what I’ve been told they are like gold dust so I’m not expecting miracles. But all in all I just wanted to say hi and I look forward to hopefully having a great new life over there, my children have grown up, my mum who I looked after sadly passed last year but I inherited her beautiful doggy, so it’s my time now and I’m so looking forward to it.

Hi Natalie and welcome to the forum!

I don't know your area, but I just wanted to say how refreshing it is read about someone who is realistic about their job prospects in Spain, especially given the Covid-19 situation.  That said, if you don't need to work, at least for the time being, I'm sure that you'll love living here.

Very best wishes to you and your fur baby for your Spanish adventure,

Kim
