Pros and cons of the Tibi/Castalla area?

Hi, I've put money down on a home pretty much in the middle of the area between Tibi and Castalla that I'm going to retire to this year and was wondering from other expats in that general area what they think of factors such as the culture, the weather, opportunities to meet and interact with others. I'm also a musician and would love to meet and play with others in the region. So far it looks the best of all worlds with wonderful scenery, hiking and biking areas and easy and fast access to Alicante and the beaches via the A7. Thank you in advance for your answers.
